Terms of Service

Effective October 19, 2026. PickOneAI is operated by J W, a sole proprietor in the United States, doing business as PickOneAI.

1. What PickOneAI is

PickOneAI (the "site") publishes rankings of AI tools: one pick and one runner-up per job, computed from a published formula. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

2. Information only

Everything on the site is general information and opinion, provided "as is". Prices, features and signals come from public sources we link to. They change often and may be out of date or wrong. Check with the vendor before you buy or rely on a tool. Nothing on the site is professional, legal, financial or security advice.

3. Rankings are independent

Nobody can pay to be a pick, a runner-up or to move up a ranking. Paid products (such as a Featured launch slot) and any affiliate links are labeled and are never inputs to the score. See the no-paid-placement rule.

4. Featured launch slots (paid)

  • What it is: a clearly labeled "Featured launch" placement for a vendor's product in a separate section of the site, shown for a stated period. Details and price are listed on /advertise/ when sales open.
  • What it isn't: it doesn't change rankings, scores, picks, runner-ups or editorial text, and it doesn't guarantee any number of views, clicks or sign-ups.
  • Review: we review every submission before publishing. We may decline a product that is illegal, deceptive, malicious, sexually explicit, not working, or unrelated to AI or building software. Declined orders are refunded in full.
  • Your content: you confirm you have the right to the name, logo, text and links you submit, and you allow us to display them for the slot. You're responsible for their accuracy.
  • Payment: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Refunds: see the refund policy.

5. Acceptable use

Please don't attack, overload or scrape the site in ways that harm it, and don't misrepresent our rankings. Our public data (/api/picks.json, /llms.txt) may be reused with attribution to PickOneAI and a link to the site.

6. Third-party links

We link to other websites and tools. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, pricing, privacy practices or products.

7. Intellectual property

The site's design, text and rankings belong to PickOneAI, except where noted. Product names and trademarks belong to their owners. Using them doesn't imply endorsement.

8. Disclaimers and limits

To the extent the law allows, the site is provided without warranties of any kind, and PickOneAI isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site. For a paid slot, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for that slot.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top will change, and the new terms apply from that date. Changes don't apply retroactively to slots already paid for.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the U.S. state where the operator resides.
